Message:
Mfana Jones Hlophe has died at 55. The South African performer spent 37 years working across TV, movies, music, and dance. His passing has left fellow entertainers grieving, with tributes coming from people who worked with him. Actor Zola Hashatsi shared the sad news on Facebook. His tribute was quite personal. He credited Hlophe with helping younger artists grow and expressed deep thanks for all he had done. Clearly, the veteran meant a great deal to his peers. The team from Generations: The Legacy paid its respects as well. Producers and fellow cast members sent sympathy to Hlophe's family, while the crew shared its grief over his death. His acting credits included Sarafina!, Mama's Love, Uzalo, and Zabalaza. Viewers may recall him from Imbewu: The Seed and KwaBaba as well. Quite a few roles across a long career, with Hlophe staying active in several parts of the arts scene.
