Paramount Chief Daasebre Kwaku Boateng III finished his official visit to Germany. The New Juaben Traditional Area leader met with German parliament officials from North Rhine-Westphalia. Stefan Engstfeld chairs the Europe and International Relations Committee and held meetings with the African delegation. Eileen Woestmann serves as Vice Chair for Children, Youth and Family matters and also attended discussions. The talks focused on creating partnerships between Koforidua and German cities. Queen Mother Nana Juaben Serwaa III traveled with the chief to Germany for these important meetings. Other chiefs, advisors, teachers and tourism workers joined the official delegation. Strategic Advisor Oswald Essuah-Mensah presented plans for town twinning arrangements. Maria Otobia Bruce-Tagoe spoke about youth job programs and skills training opportunities. German officials showed strong interest in working with Ghana on education and business projects. The delegation will continue meeting with Ghanaian communities living across the North Rhine-Westphalia region. Both sides want to strengthen relationships through culture, education and economic cooperation. The visit created new possibilities for young people to find better employment opportunities. German parliament members expressed enthusiasm about future collaboration projects. The chief's team expects more productive partnerships to develop from these successful discussions.
