A Ghanaian official has emphasized the importance of an international gathering in Saudi Arabia that will address pilgrim services and technological improvements for religious travelers.

Alhaji Mohammed Amin Lamptey, who directs communications at the Pilgrims Affairs Office of Ghana, stated that the Annual Hajj and Umrah Conference and Exhibition will run from November 9 through 12 in Jeddah. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah is organizing the event with support from the Pilgrims Experience Program to advance service quality, encourage innovation and promote transparency throughout operations. Lamptey wrote on social media that the gathering brings together experts and leaders to discuss challenges in lodging, transport, crowd control and meal provision while exploring artificial intelligence applications and digital reporting platforms. He noted that discussions will examine how uncontrolled social media affects public understanding and stress factual communication methods.

The conference spans 52,000 square meters with more than 260 exhibitors presenting current technologies alongside 80 sessions and 60 workshops led by specialists. Ghana plans to send representatives to the event that Lamptey described as promoting cooperation among nations, businesses and service organizations to strengthen the spiritual experience for millions of Muslims worldwide.
