She brings many talents to her community as an award-winning musician who won Best Artiste at multiple festivals last year. Her manager discovered her musical abilities back in 2017.

Dery serves as a role model for young people across the region, especially girls who look up to her. The annual Kakube Festival, held every November, celebrates local culture and unity. Through her actions, Dery shows how young people can make real differences in their communities.
