Ruto also praised the friendship between Kenya and Guinea Bissau. He called Kenya a "second home" for Embaló.

Odinga, a former prime minister of Kenya, has been traveling across Africa to campaign. He wants endorsements before the AUC elections next month in Ethiopia.

Odinga recently visited Algeria, Mauritania, and Mozambique, where he shared his ideas for African unity and economic success.

"I spoke about my vision for the African Union," he said in Algeria. "We need to strengthen Pan-Africanism for the good of the whole continent."

In Mauritania, Odinga met with African Union Chairperson Mohamed Ould Ghazouani and other leaders.
