Nyondoro tried to blame goblins for his behaviour. He said they possessed him and made him do bad things. "Goblins whisper in my ear, telling me to sell her gear and act up. I try to fight it, but they're too strong," he claimed.

The magistrate, Ms. Meenal Naratom, wasn't having any of Nyondoro's goblin nonsense. She said his claims didn't hold water and questioned how goblins could make him act like that.

The court sided with Nyakupariwa and gave her a protection order to keep her belongings safe. NewsDay reports that Nyondoro is now banned from selling any of his grandma's stuff without her say-so.
