ZANU PF leaders from Harare all agreed to suggest adding businessman Kudakwashe Tagwirei to the party's Central Committee. The Harare group met on Monday at their offices to discuss important things happening around the city. They discussed the upcoming special elections in Glenview South, where Tsitsi Tawomhera will represent them, some protests that didn't work out, and adding new members to different positions. Mr. Masimirembwa, who leads ZANU PF in Harare, said everyone agreed Tagwirei should join the Central Committee. He explained that Tagwirei belongs to their party, runs smart businesses, and has good ideas for the future. The group will send their suggestion to Dr. Obert Mpofu, who keeps track of all party decisions as Secretary General. Andy Mhlanga, who helps with money matters for the party, talked about why having successful business people join helps everyone. He mentioned that Tagwirei has been supporting the party already, and joining officially will let him help more with making people financially stronger. Other groups inside the party said they liked this decision a lot. ZANU PF wants to help more people become financially better off, which matches what the government wants to do by 2030. They hope to make Zimbabwe a place where most people have more money and better lives. Some spots opened up because certain members were kicked out for breaking the rules and not following what the party asked them to do.
