ActionSA leader Herman Mashaba has gone after Zimbabwean activist Rutendo Matinyarare with harsh words. The politician says he will kick Matinyarare out of South Africa if his party wins power. Mashaba promises the activist will be among the first people sent back to Zimbabwe. He also wants to ban Matinyarare from ever coming back to the country. The ActionSA leader calls the Zimbabwean man toxic for South Africa. The fight started when Matinyarare attacked General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi on social media. The activist said the police general failed to deal with corrupt officers during his 20 years of service. Many people criticized Matinyarare for these comments about the police chief. This made Mashaba angry enough to respond with threats. The South African politician decided to target the foreign activist publicly. Mashaba told Matinyarare to pray that ActionSA does not win elections. He warned that his party would legally remove the activist from the country. The politician said Matinyarare would be part of the first group of people deported. He repeated that the Zimbabwean man brings harm to South Africa. Mashaba wants the activist to return to Zimbabwe and speak there instead. The ActionSA leader plans bigger deportation programs if he gains power. He believes Matinyarare should be among the first people removed from South Africa. Mashaba told the activist to exercise his free speech rights back home. The politician keeps saying that Matinyarare damages South Africa just by being there.
