Judge Ssekaana agreed with them. He pointed out that Uganda has been free from Britain for 62 years but still uses these old names. He said streets should carry the names of people who made Uganda better after it became free.

This big change shows Uganda moving away from its past under British control. The next step is to ensure that KCCA follows the court's orders.

Some people think it might be hard to change these names because Britain gives Uganda lots of money each year. They worry about harming the friendship between the two lands.
