In the 2022 elections, Raila had Uhuru's support. He wanted to prevent Ruto from succeeding Uhuru and gain personal revenge for Ruto abandoning him in 2013.

Omwenga believes Ruto is on a God-driven path to do good for the country. He means well and will do well.

When Raila becomes African Union Commission chairman, the 2027 election campaign will begin. Ironically, Raila will help ensure Ruto's second term.
