Hyphen rolls out skills map for green hydrogen jobs

Hyphen Hydrogen Energy created a new skills map for green jobs in Namibia. The company wants workers ready for their hydrogen project in southern Namibia. Their plan might bring 15,000 construction jobs later, with 3,000 permanent positions after finishing. The skills census looks at what talents already exist in the country. It helps find local people who can fill these roles.

Martin Wilkinson runs training at Hyphen. He sees the census as part of bigger studies about workforce readiness. The survey results will show what training programs are needed next. The company wants Namibians prepared for green energy careers. They hope to identify skill gaps before construction begins. Special training courses will address these needs soon afterward. The goal focuses on hiring local citizens whenever possible. Hyphen asks all Namibians to join this effort. Their input shapes how green hydrogen develops across the nation.
