Joe Igbokwe from the All Progressives Congress asked Nasir El-Rufai and his son to stay completely quiet. The APC leader wants both El-Rufais to make zero statements since the father switched parties to join the SDP. Despite his criticism, Igbokwe wrote on Facebook that El-Rufai made huge contributions to helping the APC succeed. Igbokwe believes his friend should avoid making harmful comments daily. He thinks El-Rufai stands above such behavior. He asked the sons to remain silent for the present time. Igbokwe recognized the former governor took massive risks helping APC win the 2023 election. The APC official called recent behaviors by El-Rufai negative street dancing and beneath someone of his stature. Igbokwe nicknamed him "THE STORMY PETREL Dazzol." These comments came right after El-Rufai abandoned APC for the Social Democratic Party. El-Rufai explained his exit by blasting APC for failing to practice internal democracy. El-Rufai told the British Broadcasting Corporation that Tinubu's government strayed from its starting principles. The former Kaduna boss claimed the current administration hands out jobs based on who you know instead of what you know. His public complaints show deep disappointment with how President Tinubu has managed government affairs since taking power.
