Indian investments in Zimbabwe have reached $600 million, which has created many jobs for Zimbabweans. About 5,000 people work directly for Indian companies, and another 10,000 jobs are supported indirectly.
More Indian businesses are coming to Zimbabwe and working on new projects. President Mnangagwa recently launched one of these projects.
The Indian Ambassador to Zimbabwe is Mr. Bramha Kumar. He spoke at India's National Day celebration. He said the economic ties between India and Zimbabwe are growing stronger.
"Indian investments are at a new high," Ambassador Kumar said. "Our companies will help Zimbabwe's economy rebuild and expand."
