The LoC stretches about 740 kilometers through Baramulla, Kupwara, Bandipora, Poonch, Rajouri, and parts of Jammu, while the 240-kilometer international border runs through Jammu, Samba, and Kathua. The army secures the LoC, and the BSF guards the international border.
