Geza made his announcement Saturday night from a secret location wearing military clothes. He told citizens to stay home to show their anger about how the country is being run. He claimed shops and businesses would close during these two days of protest.
Police have wanted Geza since February. He promised the 95 protesters arrested in March would be released soon. He believes Mnangagwa will leave office shortly. The president warned people at Independence Day celebrations last Friday to avoid listening to troublemakers on social media. Mnangagwa did not mention Geza directly in his speech.
