The board created this practice test to check new systems before the main exam. Over 200,000 students registered for the test initially, though two later decided against taking it. Nearly 74,000 registered students missed the exam entirely, with 88 others failing fingerprint verification.

About 126,000 students completed the test. Results for around 116,000 test-takers appear online already. Another 10,000 scores remain under processing but will appear soon. JAMB spokesperson Fabian Benjamin apologized for the delays some students faced during testing.

The mock exam helps JAMB test improvements before the actual university entrance exam happens. It also gives students practice with computer testing. JAMB asked all students to remain patient with the process as they work toward making the experience better for everyone involved.
