KCB Bank Uganda sends three drivers into battle at the Bugerere Stabex EMC Rally starting Thursday. Ntambi Oscar, Mike Mukula Jr., and Nasser Mutebi will race through the sugarcane belt of Jinja and Kayunga districts. The rally runs from July 10 to July 12 with 10 special stages covering 154 competitive kilometers. Drivers face tight forest tracks, fast straight sections and a night stage for the first time since 2016. The course tests navigation skills, endurance and how well drivers adapt to changing conditions. Ntambi Oscar returns with his Subaru Impreza N10 and co-driver Pius Lugya from the Forest Rally Team. The two-time 2WD winner at the Pearl of Africa Rally believes his team has prepared well for a strong finish. Mike Mukula Jr. drives a Subaru Impreza with Edward Kiyingi after engine failure ended his last rally early. The Mukula Rally Team reinforced their car and adjusted the setup for a comeback. Veteran champion Nasser Mutebi brings tactical experience to his Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 9. The Federation of Motorsport Clubs of Uganda organizes the rally with help from KCB Bank Uganda and other partners. Sheila Awori from KCB Bank says the sponsorship supports homegrown talent and connects with communities. The bank previously invested in the Pearl Rally and provides tailored support to all three drivers. Rally organizers plan blood donation drives, tree planting activities and new classrooms at Great Harvest Primary School in Kayunga. The event aims to leave a meaningful legacy beyond the racing competition.
