A court told a politician his apology tour needs actual work first. A Nairobi judge refused to rubber-stamp a deal between Mumias East MP Peter Salasya and the National Cohesion and Integration Commission. He stated the resolution would conserve judicial resources. The MP also welcomed the chance to act as a peace ambassador. The case will return to court for a compliance check at a later point.
