The road renovation costs Shs1.3 billion, and it is backed by international development groups through the National Oil Seed Project. Erasto Kibirango, who leads the Luweero LC5 and belongs to the National Unity Platform party, has criticized officials for not finishing key construction plans like district headquarters and hospital upgrades. Kaboyo rejected these accusations and suggested politicians should work together rather than complain publicly about problems.
