Zesco United officials visited Kaizer Chiefs headquarters on Friday for important talks. The Zambian team brought five key people to the meeting at the Chiefs village. Muntanga Sibalwa led the group as head of delegation and board member. Milton Syulikwa joined him as another board member for the trip. The visitors also brought Honour Janza as technical director, Chipasha Bwalya as finance manager, and Brian Mupeyama as head of administration. Chiefs officials showed the guests around their training facilities during the visit. Kaizer Motaung Junior serves as sporting director for the South African club. He explained how important partnerships with African teams are for Chiefs. The visitors spent time talking with different staff members about future plans. Both sides shared ideas about working together on various projects. Janza praised the warm welcome his team received at the Chiefs base. He told reporters that Zesco United was impressed with what they saw. The technical director expressed hope for continued cooperation between the clubs. Chiefs facilities amazed the visiting delegation during their tour. Future partnerships could benefit both organizations in different ways. Former Chiefs striker Colins Mbesuma joined the Zesco group for their visit. The Zambian player won two league championships with Chiefs during his time there. His titles came during the 2003/04 and 2004/05 seasons with the club. Mbesuma helped connect the two teams during the Friday meetings. His experience with both organizations made him valuable for the discussions. Both clubs earned spots in next season's CAF Confederation Cup tournament. The continental competition could see them play against each other. Chiefs and Zesco United might meet as opponents rather than partners. The upcoming season will test both teams across Africa. Their Friday meeting could prove helpful regardless of future matchups.
