Two years back he helped Kitara FC win the Uganda Cup trophy. Earlier this year he guided Uganda Cubs to reach their first ever FIFA U17 World Cup after winning games in Morocco. His recent success should work well with Magera's deep knowledge of how KCCA FC plays football.
