Power will be cut off in Makutano Mwala, Mwala, Kivandini, Mhiuni, Ghetoo, Wamunyu, Yathui, Ikalaasa, and Tulila. The blackout extends to Miondoni, Syokisinga, Katangi, Ikombe, Kenyatta, Seku University, and Kyua. People living nearby should prepare for a day without electricity. Kakamega and Vihiga counties face similar schedules, with outages running from 9 a.m. through 5 p.m. Kakamega areas losing power include Igukhu Hospital, Makhokho, Khaega, and adjacent locations. Vihiga residents affected include Shell Petrol Luanda, Maseno Police, Sunrise, and Maseno Ekwanda. Maseno Sunga, Holo, Magwar, Em-aloba, Khiliba, Maseno Depo, and Bishop Olang should expect darkness during these hours. Nyeri County will see electricity cuts from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Locations without power will include Muruguru Kwa Kigera, Vet Pro Factory, Kiamuiru Primary, and Catholic schools. Mugwathi Hotel, Satima Millers, Royal Petrol Station, Githiru Market, Githiru, and C/Fact must function without electricity for most of Thursday. People living nearby should plan accordingly. Meru has multiple areas with outages starting at different times. From 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m., places like Mucuune, Maliolo, St. Stephen Primary School, and St. Benedict Primary School will lose power. Kiguchwa Primary and Secondary School, Kiguchwa Shopping Center, Kiguchwa Safaricom office, and KK Mwethe Primary School also face interruptions. Many additional schools, villages, and businesses throughout Meru should expect no electricity during these hours. Other Meru locations with scheduled outages include Safaricom Kiirua, Sera Park Hotel, Mboroga, and Meru Central Kiirua. Kibithe Market, Mborione, Mutungi Market, Gakando Secondary, Gakando Village, Machaka Slums, Ntugi Market, and Ntugi Secondary face the same situation. Karanene Primary and Kirima Kia Itunga Market round out this group of affected areas. Tharaka Nithi county residents should prepare for electricity cuts between 8:30 am and 5 pm on Thursday. The affected areas include Karamani, Kanyuru Secondary, Cheera Market, and Ikawa Primary. Kwa Mate Stage, Ithima Village, Nthima C/Fact, Salama Boarding, and nearby customers must manage without power all day. People relying on electricity for business or healthcare should make alternative arrangements. Marsabit County has scheduled outages from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. Moyale Town, Moyale Hospital, Somary Dispensary, and Moyale Prisons face blackouts. Moyale Boys, Odda Dispensary, Kinisa Mosque, and adjacent customers should expect interruptions. Local facilities need backup plans for these critical hours without electricity. Murang'a County lists numerous areas losing power from 8:30 a.m. through 5 p.m. These include Githingiri East, Golf View East, Thika Greens, and Jowaki Farm. Thika Green Golf Club, Thika Golf Club, KARLO, Mugumo Farm, Brush Industries, and Kandara Business Park must operate without electricity. Many villages, schools, markets, and farms throughout Murang'a County appear on the outage list. Kiambu residents will face outages from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday. Areas affected include Kahuho High School, Kirangari Boys, Nyathuna, and parts of Gitaru. Chura, Ruku Market, Kahuho, Gwa Thiongo, Lower Kabete Junction, and nearby customers should prepare for no electricity. People living around these locations need alternative power sources. Mombasa County completes the list with scheduled cuts from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. East African Storage, Gulf Stream, Vivo Energy, and adjacent customers face blackouts during these hours.
