Kenya sent more police officers to Haiti to help keep the country safe. The officers left Kenya on Wednesday night.

The group consists only of women. They are very good at what they do and have special skills that will help in Haiti.

People from Haiti met the group at the airport. The President of Haiti was there. The Prime Minister of Haiti was there, too. The head of the Haiti police was also there. Godfrey Otunge was there.

People from other countries were also at the airport, including Spain, the USA, France, and Canada.

Kenya said it would send 1,000 people to help.

The group arrived two days after another group from El Salvador. That group will help with planes and other airborne objects.
