The 27th Kinyara Golf Open Tournament was officially launched on Wednesday at the Uganda Golf Club in Kampala. Defending champion Joseph Kasozi will return to compete against a strong field, including notable names like Joseph Cwinya-ai and Reagan Joseph Akena. The ladies’ division will see Lillian Koowe aiming for a repeat of her stellar performance from last year. The tournament will also feature senior golfers and subsidiary competitions, including the chance to win 500 kilograms of sugar with a hole-in-one on the par-3 hole 7. The event not only celebrates golf but also strengthens community ties in Masindi.
