Mr. Ruto and Mr. Kenyatta met at Mr. Kenyatta's home in Gatundu. They had not gotten along well for a long time. Mr. Ruto wants support from Mr. Kenyatta's part of the country. He said he met with Mr. Kenyatta to find ways to work together in the future.
