Do people who say marriage is not an achievement in Zimbabwe really wish kuchaya mapoto ("mjolo") until forever or it's just a temporary excuse?

Don't these types of people later on regret in life about kubika mapoto during the time?

The thing is kuchaya mapoto is something men can do with ease, unlike women who will end up having second thoughts about the biological clock ticking (i.e., babies/motherhood) and the pressure of other women (e.g., friends, family, etc) asking why they are taking forever to get that ring.

Hence, for the above-stated reasons, many women are likely to see the idea of kubika mapoto as a waste of time yet simultaneously they will be heavily contradicting themselves saying marriage is not an achievement.

If it's not an achievement she ought not to ask or wait for a ring during the course of kuchayisa mapoto.

Some people have different goals in life and getting married might not be one of them.

How can you say such a thing when usually people who say something like that have the following characteristics or habits:
  1. they have been married before and divorced (meaning marriage was once a big dream).
  2. they have multiple children but still, give men who they date ultimatums.
  3. always giving relationship advice to other women about how to keep a man.
  4. always shaming other women e.g. IG models, slay queens, socialites for not settling down.
  5. etc.

I have noticed nuns are probably a group of women who seem to really know what they want.

They choose to live a celibate lifestyle and still maintain the same mission throughout life.

As for the other groups of women, they kinda go through phases and get vexed about what they really want.

Too much confusion is also now aided in trying to follow wayward social media materialistic B.S.

Not all nuns remain virgins though. Just saying... :sneaky:

It depends on how things turn out for them career-wise.

If things go according to plan there won't be so much regret but if they have a huge sudden paradigm shift life will take on new meaning.

You are not answering the question. You are dodging the question about regret from kuchaya mapoto.

The question is how many women want to continue kuchaya mapoto even at 40?

When that man dies, she has nothing to claim as a wife would. Most people in long term relationships do want marriage.

You are the one who seriously needs to move on with time. Some women these days are happy being a small house as long as they are well-kept women they will play their position.

On the contrary, some small houses try to usurp the big house via a bedroom coup and this we all know.

At the end of the day, people are different and will behave in ways that suit them whether it involves kuchaya mapoto or not.

I think being someone's small house (or blessee) is different from kuchaya mapoto. Slay queens are just daiges blessers use to smash and dash without the process of kubika mapoto either.
