Leica Cine Play 1 makes portable 4K projection a breeze

Leica has launched the Cine Play 1. It's a DLP laser projector you can take anywhere. The projector gives you clear 4K images. It measures 242 x 261 x 229 mm and weighs 6.7 kg. The Cine Play 1 takes Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) and turns it into 4K UHD. It does this with a special upscaling process. The refresh rate is 120 Hz at Full HD. There's less than 12 ms of input lag. That means smooth images, even when things move fast. It works with many HDR formats like Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HLG.

The Cine Play 1 is really bright at 3000 lumens. You can project from 65 to 300 inches. The contrast ratio is 1500:1. It has colors that are better than the Rec. 2020 standard. They're accurate and vibrant. The projector runs on VIDAA OS version U7.6. This gives you smart features like voice control and a web browser. There are two built-in 10-watt speakers. They use Dolby Audio and DTS Virtual:X for clear sound. You can connect in many ways with AirPlay, Bluetooth 5.3, HDMI 2.1 (with eARC), RJ-45, S/PDIF, USB 3.0, and Wi-Fi 6. This makes it easy to use in different setups.

The Cine Play 1 comes with a remote control and a microphone, making it great for work presentations and watching movies at home. It uses 180 watts of power, which is a good balance of efficiency and performance. The projector costs around USD 3,800, and you can buy a metal stand for about USD 430.

Leica has made a portable projector that does a lot. The Cine Play 1 gives you 4K images, bright colors, and smart features. It has many ways to connect and comes with a remote and microphone. You can take it with you and use it for work or fun. The price is high, but it offers a lot for the money.
