[QUOTE="Nehanda, post: 27411, member: 2262"] Longsys just attended MWC 2025 in Barcelona for the first time. They came in hot with the slogan "New Mode of Storage Empowering Global Mobility" and brought a whole bunch of super innovative storage products that got everyone talking. One of the biggest things they showed off was their Product Technology Manufacturing (PTM) model. This is some next-level customization. We're talking the whole shebang, from making their own controllers and designing products from scratch to putting them through the wringer with testing and using smart manufacturing to make them. They had a ton of embedded storage solutions for smartphones, tablets, and wearables. We're looking at high-performance UFS, QLC eMMC with their own WM6000 controller, and LPDDR5 that doesn't use much power. They've got something for everyone from beginner to pro so that they can give all-around support for smart mobile devices. Longsys was ahead of the game in 2024 when it started using fancy 3D QLC tech in its eMMC products. It came out with the QLC eMMC that has its WM6000 controller inside and can hold anywhere from 128 GB to 512 GB, which is perfect for "cost reduction and capacity expansion" in devices. It's over 30% better overall and hardly uses any power when it's just hanging out, which is great for making batteries last longer. You can already find it in all kinds of smartphones. In 2025, big model tech will switch from guessing to being super smart, which means data centers and cloud computing will need way more storage. Longsys had some server storage products at the show that can totally handle what AI servers need to deal with huge amounts of data and do lots of computing super efficiently. The ORCA 4836 NVMe eSSD and UNCIA 3839 SATA eSSD are made with 3D eTLC NAND and the kind of controllers big companies use. They can hold from 480 GB to 7.68 TB and ensure that everything runs smoothly and securely with high throughput. The CXL 2.0 Memory Expansion Module & DDR5 RDIMM work with PCIe 5.0 and can hold up to 192 GB. They're super fast at 6400 Mbps and can move data at 32 GB/s, in theory, which is great for pooling memory and making AI even faster. The Bluetooth PSSD really stood out when they showed it live. It's a slim little thing that hardly uses any power (like 1.5mA when it's just chilling) and can handle getting bumped around. It's got a super-speedy USB 3.2 interface that works with both BOT and UASP protocols. You can get it with anywhere from 128 GB to 1 TB of space. The NFC PSSD is a lot like the Bluetooth PSSD. It's all about keeping your private data safe, but you unlock it with NFC instead. You just tap the sensor with a smartphone, smartwatch, or NFC card that has NFC, and it unlocks a special storage area so you can access your data. It's like having a secret storage space you can take with you anywhere. They first showed it off at CES 2025 in January. Lexar, which is Longsys' brand for regular folks, showed off some storage for taking pictures with your phone: the SL500 portable solid-state drive and the Professional Go solid-state drive photography kit made just for iPhones. The Lexar SL500 Portable SSD with Magnetic Set works with several different devices and can hold up to 4 TB. Its cool magnetic design works with the iPhone 15 Pro and 16 Pro series, so you can record ProRes 4K videos straight to it without taking up space on your phone, which is super handy. The Lexar Professional Go Portable SSD with Hub is a tiny little thing that you just plug in and start shooting. It makes it easy to record ProRes 4K video straight to the drive and send it over right away. If you use it with the docking station, you can do pro-level photography. It's got everything you need, like sound and lighting, in one place, which is perfect for professional photographers. Longsys is still working on making its products available worldwide. The stuff it makes at its manufacturing and operations center in South America, Zilia, got a lot of love at MWC. It uses a dual-circulation supply chain strategy to ensure it can make stuff efficiently, keep things coming, and give localized support to customers worldwide. As AI, 5G, and mobile storage keep getting better, Longsys is all about making custom stuff and high-quality smart manufacturing to pave the way for storage solutions that are even smarter and more connected.
