Christopher Guzha faces armed robbery charges in Goromonzi involving twelve thousand dollars from an EcoCash agent. Police arrested the self-styled prophet Madzibaba DVD on Sunday and seized his phone immediately. He appeared before a Marondera regional court on Monday while family disputes the official narrative.

Guzha’s son-in-law claims the arrest connects to viral Wicknell Chivayo audio rather than stolen cash. That recording features Chivayo thanking an unnamed cleric for lucky charms that supposedly secured presidential favor. Lake Kariba rituals and promised vehicles also appear in the leaked conversation.

The authenticity of the recording has been established according to ZimLive reports. The timing between the leak and arrest fuels speculation about ulterior motives behind law enforcement action. No independent confirmation links the robbery charge directly to the controversial audio circulation following Chivayo’s fatal helicopter crash.
