A Bulawayo man must pay $300 after he hurt his wife. The 35-year-old man named Bhekisani Maphosa hit his wife because she went to a party without telling him. He wanted to look at her phone, but she said no.
The judge, Ms Learnear Khumalo, sentenced him to 10 months in jail. Six months will be suspended if he behaves for five years. He can skip the other four months if he pays $300 by March 30.
