He told people to come meet him instead. Other important old soldiers like Mr. Chinooneka and Mr. Ezra said they weren't there when the money was given out.

The old soldiers are confused because different people are saying different things. Mr Makuni said some people were at the meeting, but those same people say they never went. These brave heroes want everyone to know the truth about what happened with their money.
