According to Christopher Mutsvangwa from the Zanu PF party, Zimbabweans living abroad need to back President Mnangagwa as he brings fresh progress to their homeland. The President values these overseas citizens greatly because they help boost the national economy through their connections and resources. During his London visit Monday, Mutsvangwa told Zanu PF members in Britain that their leadership remains focused on keeping campaign promises. He stressed that President Mnangagwa wants to strengthen the economy based on plans that won voter support during the 2023 elections across Zimbabwe. Mutsvangwa explained how former colonial powers try to create problems through social media attacks on party leaders. Despite these challenges, the President keeps working to improve both Zimbabwe and neighboring areas. As chairman of the Southern African group SADC, Mnangagwa works with Kenyan President William Ruto to create peace in eastern Congo by persuading fighting groups to stop their conflicts. Since becoming president seven years ago, Mnangagwa has actively changed the economy and rebuilt Zimbabwe. His team has finished more than 8,000 different projects throughout the country as they push toward making Zimbabwe a middle-class nation by 2030. He started with clear plans right after taking office when he launched the Stabilization Programme, which ran until 2023. This early work led to the National Development Strategy 1, which serves as the foundation for his long-term vision. The President encourages all citizens to help build their country, following his belief that Zimbabwe grows through the efforts of its people. He ensures that every community benefits from government programs without leaving anyone behind. His leadership brought record wheat harvests that beat previous highs from sixty years ago. This success strengthened food security and created new economic opportunities for farmers throughout the nation. The government built power stations, roads, and government buildings, including improvements to the international airport, to modernize infrastructure everywhere. Farmers received legal documents proving they controlled their land, a major policy achievement under Mnangagwa. These papers allow them to borrow money using their farms as security. The system helps farmers increase production and manage their finances without depending on outside help. This approach shows how the President wants to transform farming into a more business-focused activity.
