The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs approved on Wednesday the establishment of 57 Kendriya Vidyalayas across India with funding exceeding 5,862 crore rupees through 2035. The organization currently runs 1,288 schools domestically and three internationally with total enrollment reaching 13.62 lakh students as of June 30.
