Jonas believes Tesla could save 2.5 billion dollars if it replaced just 10 percent of its 125,665 workers with Optimus robots.

The energy storage part of Tesla's business stayed flat compared to last year. Federal tax breaks for electric cars end on September 30th and solar credits stop on December 31st. Trump's new law is killing demand for ZEV credits that made Tesla billions of dollars. California had special rules that let it have tougher pollution standards but Congress took away that power.
