Zimbabwe's Public Service Minister Edgar Moyo removed all board members from the National Social Security Authority on Tuesday. The firing ended months of fighting about who should lead the agency. Fundira's choice would have restarted a failed software project worth 10 million dollars. Twenty Third Century Systems had worked on the deal before it stopped during setup. The disagreement between Fundira and the minister grew worse behind closed doors. Moyo decided to support Shava and ignore the board's wishes. The minister has the power to pick new board members from lists sent by worker and employer groups.
