MSI has a special GeForce RTX 5080 16G Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Edition OC for collectors, and the price is quite something. This limited-run GPU pairs NVIDIA hardware with a bright yellow cooler and a game-themed backplate. Definitely one for gamers who care about how their PC looks. Underneath all that custom styling, the specs stay firmly in RTX 5080 territory. There are 10,752 CUDA cores, backed by 16 GB GDDR7 memory running at 30 Gbps across a 256-bit interface. MSI also gives users a few ways to set the clock speed. Performance settings get a slight bump through MSI Center, where boost speeds can hit 2,715 MHz. Gaming and Silent profiles cap that figure at 2,700 MHz. Nothing here points to a new class of GPU, though. The main appeal is the special design rather than some major hardware upgrade. Power needs are worth a look before anyone hits the buy button. This card draws up to 360 W, uses a single 16-pin plug, and calls for at least an 850 W power supply. And yes, that cable needs to fit snugly, with no tight bend right near its connector. Case space could be another headache. At 344 mm from end to end, with a 52 mm body and a weight of 1,355 g, this thing needs room. It also takes more than two expansion slots. A support bracket makes sense if the PC build allows one. Cooling comes from the TRIO FROZR 4 system. That's MSI's solution for keeping heat under control, although real-world results remain an open question. No independent noise or temperature tests were cited at launch, which means buyers lack firm data on how well this version handles heavy gaming. Display connections are fairly straightforward. Users get three DisplayPort 2.1b sockets and one HDMI output. The card can serve multiple screens, with the actual setup depending on the monitors involved. Then there's the money. Japan's listed price works out to roughly $2,348, which is a hefty ask even for a premium RTX 5080. But that figure isn't an official American or European retail price. Taxes, regional stock, and collector demand may change what buyers pay. MSI hasn't shared a firm production count either. That leaves the scarcity question unanswered, even with the limited-edition branding. Buyers are mainly paying for familiar high-end RTX 5080 hardware dressed in Call of Duty gear, with the usual performance, power, and cooling factors still worth checking.
