During cross-examination, the 32-year-old acknowledged a previous arrest by drug enforcement agents in 2019 but said he was released hours later from Brusubi Police Station.

The case continues on May 19, when additional defense witnesses will appear. Bojang faces charges related to killing two police officers and injuring another.
