President Museveni told Ugandans to remove any corrupt people serving on Parish Development Model committees. He believes citizens must stand firm against anyone who damages this program. The PDM was created to help people join the cash economy and reduce poverty. He shared these thoughts at Kahunde Playground during his visit to Kagadi district as part of his wealth creation performance review. Museveni explained that the government plans to provide one free primary school for each Parish and one free secondary school for every sub-county. This strategy aims to deliver free education across Uganda. He stressed that offering free education directly addresses the problem of vulnerable children leaving school early. He encouraged Bunyoro residents to watch closely and report anyone charging fees at government schools. The president also described how free education reaches the university level through Presidential Skilling Hubs and public universities. He promised continued government focus on improving roads, water systems, electricity access, healthcare services, and economic development programs. Museveni urged Bunyoro farmers to adopt irrigation and other modern farming methods to increase their crop production. Addressing land issues, Museveni directed district authorities to report landlords who illegally force people off their land. He reminded everyone that land rights were clearly established during the Constituent Assembly and later laws. These rules protect both tenants and landlords, allowing people to stay on their land and use it to create wealth. The president asked State House Comptroller Jane Barekye to establish a new police station at the Isumba sub-county headquarters. Museveni instructed Barekye to deliver his promised 300 million shilling donation to Birembo War veterans and other groups in Bunyoro. He repeated his message about protecting wetlands. The president also gave Kagadi District Hospital a new, fully equipped class B ambulance to help improve local health services. Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja thanked President Museveni for his support and for developing infrastructure throughout Bunyoro.
