BNP leader Nazrul Islam Khan believes the fight against Sheikh Hasina remains unfinished. The senior party member wants Bangladesh to hold real elections where people can vote freely. Khan spoke to reporters after visiting the grave of party founder Ziaur Rahman. He placed flowers at the memorial site alongside other BNP leaders from Mymensingh South District. The politician stressed that removing Hasina was just the first step toward democracy. Khan explained that BNP battled against Hasina's harsh rule for more than fifteen years. The party faced terrible punishment and attacks during their long struggle. Students and workers joined the final push that brought down the government. Many brave people sacrificed their lives to end the dictatorial system. Khan said their deaths must lead to something better for all citizens. The BNP leader pointed out that half their goals came true when Hasina ran away from Bangladesh. Other top government officials also fled the country after losing power. Khan admitted that toppling one bad leader was never the complete plan. The real prize remains building a government that answers to voters. Regular people still cannot pick their leaders through fair elections under neutral supervision. Khan believes Bangladesh needs fresh elections run by people who stay neutral. The country deserves leaders chosen through honest voting rather than force or tricks. Citizens must gain the basic right to select who governs them. Khan thinks only genuine democracy can honor those who died fighting corruption. The BNP continues pushing for elections that reflect what people actually want.
