Madrid-based International Council of Museums completed its three-day digital workshop for emerging heritage workers on Thursday. The program ran from July 15 through July 17 and attracted dozens of young professionals from museums and cultural institutions across Africa. Break discussions examined visitor tracking methods, customer service approaches, and preservation techniques for Gambian sites. Representatives from Botswana, Burkina Faso, Senegal, and Benin also attended the virtual event.
