Jamaica sent nearly 8,000 workers overseas through its employment program during the first half of 2025. These representatives help employees resolve problems and provide assistance in Canada and America. Charles urged workers to contact these officers whenever they face difficulties. State Minister Norman Dunn reminded departing workers that they represent Jamaica while working overseas.
