His lawyer, Admire Rubaya, basically said investigators had no clue how tech operations work at mobile carriers and that the board signed off on upgrading SAGE to the L200 version because vendor support was ending.

The state also accused him of paying Diztech nearly US$80,000 for services already covered under another contract, but his legal team said NetOne never even had a deal with Diztech or paid them anything.
