[QUOTE="Munyaradzi Mafaro, post: 31389, member: 636"] The new Nintendo Switch 2 has a bigger and better screen. It measures 7.9 inches, compared to the first Switch's 6.2 inches. Thanks to its 1080p display, instead of the old 720p, you'll see sharper pictures. The screen also shows brighter colors with High Dynamic Range and works smoothly with Variable Refresh Rate through NVIDIA G-SYNC. Games can run at up to 120 frames per second on this display. People who have the Switch OLED might feel a bit sad since the new screen isn't OLED. This means blacks won't look as deep and dark as they do on OLED screens. Nintendo's tech boss, Tetsuya Sasaki, talked about why they picked LCD. He said they looked at all the latest screen options and decided LCD made the most sense right after lots of thinking about it. Many fans believe that Nintendo plans to sell a fancier OLED version later to make more money. At least this way, gamers can buy a cheaper LCD model first if they want. The Japanese Nintendo store already shows how much space the new games will need on your Switch 2. Mario Kart World needs 23.4 GB of space. Donkey Kong Bananza takes up 10 GB. GameCube Nintendo Classics only needs 3.5 GB. Super Mario Jamboree Switch 2 Edition requires 7.7 GB. These sizes are bigger than original Switch games but much smaller than what you see on other gaming systems. These days, Most PlayStation, Xbox, and PC games take up around 100 GB. The Switch 2 comes with 256 GB of storage, which you can expand with microSD Express cards.
