NTSA Announces Scheduled System Maintenance from June 20 to June 21

Kenya's transport safety agency will shut down their computer systems for repairs. The National Transport and Safety Authority told people their services would not work from Friday night at 10 pm until Saturday afternoon at 2 pm. All online services will stop working during this time period.

NTSA handles many important jobs for drivers and vehicle owners across the country. The agency checks cars to make sure they are safe to drive on roads. They also give out licenses and register new vehicles when people buy them.

Parliament created NTSA back in 2012 to make roads safer for everyone. The organization works to reduce traffic accidents and helps manage how vehicles operate. They make rules about public buses and taxis that carry passengers.

The agency also teaches people about road safety and helps the government make transport policies. Their workers check that drivers follow traffic laws and vehicle rules. NTSA wants all Kenyan roads to be safe places for cars, trucks, and people walking.

Officials said sorry for any problems the system shutdown might cause. The maintenance work will help their computers run better when they come back online Saturday.
