[QUOTE="Queen, post: 84537, member: 27"] The National Transport and Safety Authority hammered several public transport operators for ignoring safety regulations and breaking traffic rules. NTSA said the affected operators breached conditions governing public service vehicles through failure to meet safety standards required under the Traffic Act and NTSA regulations, and also recorded fatal crashes during the December 2025 festive season. The suspensions kicked in immediately. Guardian Coach Limited got listed after a road accident on January 6, 2026, at the Kimende area along the Nairobi-Naivasha Road. The Authority ordered the company to present 24 vehicles with various violations for compliance inspection at Likoni Motor Vehicle Inspection Centre and submit the report to NTSA. NTSA suspended the driving licenses of 18 drivers involved in violating speed limits for 90 days, after which they'll need to undergo a driver re-test. The company got 21 days to comply or face license revocation. NTSA ordered Nanyuki Express Cab Services Ltd to present 128 vehicles with various violations for compliance inspections at Nyeri Motor Vehicles Inspection Centre and submit the report to the Authority. The licenses of 26 drivers involved in speed violations got suspended for 90 days pending a re-test. The company got 21 days to comply or lose its license. Monna Comfort Sacco was ordered to present all 19 vehicles with violations at Nakuru Motor Vehicle inspection Centre, while 26 drivers' licenses got suspended for breaching speed limits. NTSA resolved to suspend the company's operations. Greenline Company Ltd was ordered to present all 33 vehicles with violations at Likoni Motor Vehicle inspection Centre, while 29 licenses got suspended for breaching speed limits. NTSA resolved to suspend the company's operations. NTSA ordered Naekana Route 134 Sacco Ltd to present 128 vehicles with various violations for compliance inspections at Likoni/Machakos Motor Vehicles Inspection Centre and submit the report to the Authority.
