Bane brings explosive scoring that Orlando lacks from outside. He scored 30 points in 29 regular season games. He topped 40 points twice and made eight three-pointers in one game. No Magic player has made eight threes in a single game for over four years.

Orlando ranked last in three-pointers made and three-point shooting percentage this season. They averaged just 11.2 threes per game at 31.8 percent. The Magic scored only 105.4 points per game, ranking 28th. They won games through defense but needed offensive help.
