A guard who worked the night Ojwang allegedly died also faces detention.

Two officers appeared in court Thursday for shooting the mask vendor on Moi Avenue. Klinzy Masinde Barasa and Duncan Kiprono will stay locked up for 15 days at Capitol Hill station. Deputy Police Chief Eliud Lagat stepped down to allow fair investigations into the teacher's death. Prosecutors need more time to finish building their case against the shooting suspects.
