Police officers have taken back three cars that Maxwell Kofi Jumah took from GIHOC Distilleries without permission. Officers arrested the former company leader on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at his home near Kumasi. GIHOC workers filed papers with police asking for help to find their missing vehicles. Security teams drove Jumah to the Ashanti Regional Police station first. Later, officers moved him to CID headquarters for more questions. A senior police officer told reporters that GIHOC submitted a written complaint about stolen company property. The petition claimed that Jumah had taken several vehicles that belonged to the business. Police found enough evidence to arrest the former manager for questioning about the missing cars. Officers confirmed they have already found three of the vehicles mentioned during their search. Jumah helps investigators learn more about what happened to the company property. Security teams tried to get the vehicles back on May 15 but could not find Jumah at that time. The earlier operation failed because the former manager was not available for questioning. Police have made better progress since they arrested him and brought him to their main office. Investigators will continue looking for more evidence about the case. Officers plan to take legal action based on what they discover during their investigation.
