Police Seize Meth Stock as Siegfried Faces Court

Cops locked up Tyron Pigors Siegfried from Bulawayo after finding crystal meth at his house Thursday. He stood before Judge Polite Dube-Banda yesterday. The court pushed his bail hearing to Monday. Lawyer Innocent Rujeko Mafirakureva represents him through Moyo & Nyoni.

Police charged Siegfried for having 1.26 kilograms of crystal meth worth $6,000 on the street. Prosecutor Mufaro Ndirayire explained how police watched Siegfried since February. They raided his Matsheumhlope home and discovered drugs hidden inside a biscuit box, sneaker box, fake dictionary, and blue trunk. The officers also grabbed scales he used to measure drug amounts.

Siegfried acted totally differently in court than on his arrest day. He looked pale and quiet yesterday instead of making jokes like Thursday. His face drained of color when the judge read his charges. He nodded yes when asked if he understood what he faced.

The once-happy guy who laughed during his arrest seemed crushed by reality. Everyone went silent when guards brought him into court from the cells below. His serious face showed he finally understood the trouble he created. His arrest comes as drug problems cause violent crimes across communities. The government continues fighting harder against drug sales and smuggling throughout the country.
