Bumrah caused problems for England all day with his fast bowling. The Indian speedster finished with figures of 3-48 from his 12 overs. He removed Joe Root and Ben Duckett during the afternoon session. Harry Brook almost became his fourth victim but a no-ball saved the Yorkshire batsman. Bumrah has taken every England wicket to fall during this match.

Rishabh Pant earlier hammered 134 runs for India before losing his wicket. The wicketkeeper celebrated his hundred with a backflip on the field. Captain Shubman Gill also made 147 runs before falling to the England bowlers. Ben Stokes grabbed four wickets to help clean up the Indian tail. India lost their last seven wickets for just 41 runs.
